# Images

> How to ask the agent to draw an image or edit one of yours — from a sample, in the right aspect ratio and quality — and what it costs.

Source: https://eggent.ai/docs/images/

The agent can create new images from a description and change existing ones: remove or replace a background, make a variant in another style, build a cover from a sample.

## How to ask {#ask}

Describe what you need, as you would to a designer:

- "Draw a cover for a post about our autumn sale: a coffee shop, warm light, room for a headline at the top, 4:5."
- "Here is a product photo (attached). Replace the background with white and make it a 1:1 square."
- "Make three pixel-art logo options, transparent background."

The more precise the description (what is shown, style, colours, format, what to keep from the sample), the fewer attempts it takes.

## Reference images {#references}

Attach one or more images to the message, or point to a file in the project. The agent passes them on as a reference: you can ask it to keep the composition, the colours, a face or a product and change the rest.

## Options {#options}

| Option | Values | Note |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Aspect ratio | `1:1`, `16:9`, `9:16`, `4:3`, `4:5` and others | For posts, stories, covers |
| Size | `1K`, `2K`, `4K`, or exact, like `1024x1024` | |
| Quality | `low`, `medium` (default), `high` | `high` costs several times more |
| Format | `png`, `jpeg`, `webp` | |
| Background | normal or transparent | Transparent for logos and icons |
| Count | how many variants at once | Each variant is paid for separately |

Saying the options in plain words is fine and encouraged: "vertical for stories", "high quality", "transparent background".

## Where the result goes {#result}

Finished images are saved to the `generated-images/` folder of the current project and show up in the **Files** panel right away. The agent shows their paths in the answer, and you can open or download them. Ask, and it sends an image to Telegram or posts it to a channel.

## Cost {#cost}

- In the cloud, images are drawn by **Eggent Images**. Every plan [includes some images a month](https://eggent.ai/docs/plans.md#tools) that are not taken from the balance; the billing page says how many. Past them an image is paid from the Eggent AI balance: the price depends mostly on quality, and the agent sees what each image cost and can tell you.
- The trial includes **two** images; more need a plan.
- If the workspace runs on [your own key](https://eggent.ai/docs/models.md#own-provider), images are off until you choose in **Settings → Models → Advanced → Images, voice and memory**: Eggent AI, paid from its balance as above, or a provider of your own, connected with an API key ([more](https://eggent.ai/docs/models.md#services)).
