# Plans and balance

> How Eggent Cloud billing works — the trial, plans, Eggent AI credits, disk space, what happens when something runs out, and where to see it all.

Source: https://eggent.ai/docs/plans/

In the cloud you pay for two things: the **workspace** (a plan — a month of the workspace running plus disk space) and the **model** (Eggent AI credits for model requests). If you work on [your own key](https://eggent.ai/docs/models.md#own-provider), you do not need the second.

Current prices are always on your workspace's billing page: `https://cloud.eggent.ai/billing/name`.

## Trial {#trial}

- 7 days. The billing page shows the date your trial ends.
- 100 MB of disk.
- Eggent AI credits to get started; every model in the list is available.
- Two free images.

When the trial or a plan ends the workspace closes: a page with the plans opens in its place. **Files, chats and settings are kept**, and after payment everything continues from where it was.

## Plans {#plans}

A plan is a monthly subscription. It keeps the workspace running, raises the disk space and (except for the base plan) adds Eggent AI credits every month.

- **The base plan** is for people who work on their own model key: no credits, but a proper disk.
- **Plans with credits** — the higher the plan, the more credits per month and the more disk. The middle one is marked as the most popular.
- **People.** If your workspace is a [company](https://eggent.ai/docs/business.md), Pro includes 1 person besides you, Max 2 and Super 3. They all spend the plan's credits and its disk. Base and Starter are plans for one person.
- **Super's power.** Where the billing page offers it, Super is a base plus steps on top. Each step adds everything Pro has: credits, disk, browser, hard pages, pictures, letters and one more person. Steps are picked with the slider on the plan's card or added later on the billing page, and given up from the next period. Up to 50 people; for more, write to us about Enterprise.

The billing page says what each plan includes. You pay by card through the Tribute payment page. The subscription renews monthly by itself; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid month.

To change plans, pick another one on the billing page. The new plan replaces the current one; you will not be charged twice.

## Credits {#credits}

Credits are the balance that pays for Eggent AI model requests and images.

- **Plan credits** arrive every month. The unused remainder expires at renewal.
- **Bought credits** can be added on the billing page while you have an active plan. They never expire.
- Plan credits are spent first, then bought ones.

Each request costs according to the model and the number of tokens. The model price table is on the same page. [Cheaper models](https://eggent.ai/docs/models.md) and [light chat modes](https://eggent.ai/docs/chats.md#modes) make the balance last longer.

## What else a plan includes {#tools}

Besides credits and disk, every plan includes four things a month. The billing page says how many of each a plan has, and the trial has a few to try them.

- **Minutes of the agent's browser**: the [browser](https://eggent.ai/docs/browser.md) the agent drives on our machine.
- **Hard pages**: pages the agent could not open itself, read for it on our server.
- **Images** that are not taken from the balance; past them an image is paid from credits ([more](https://eggent.ai/docs/images.md#cost)).
- **Letters** from the [agent's email](https://eggent.ai/docs/email.md#limits), and on a paid plan some of them to other people.

They start again on the first of every month, and what is left does not carry over. In a [company](https://eggent.ai/docs/company.md) everybody uses the administrator's, and every place bought on top adds more. The agent knows how much is left, and a meter appears in the sidebar once half is used.

## When credits run out {#out-of-credits}

- At half and at three-quarters of the balance a warning appears in the sidebar.
- When credits run out, the agent on Eggent AI stops answering and sends a link to the billing page. An answer already in progress gets to finish.
- The workspace itself stays open: files, chats and settings are available. Work on your own key carries on as usual.

## Disk space {#storage}

- Disk usage is checked regularly; at three-quarters a warning appears.
- When the disk is completely full, the agent stops answering but **the workspace stays open**: delete what you do not need in the **Files** panel and everything works again from the next message. The other way out is a plan with a bigger disk.
- In a [company](https://eggent.ai/docs/company.md) the disk is shared: it counts the files of every person's workspace.

## Where to see it {#where}

- **The billing page** `https://cloud.eggent.ai/billing/name` — days left, disk used, credits left, the plans and model prices. Sign in with the same email and password as the workspace.
- **The workspace sidebar** — warnings when something is running low.
- **The agent** — ask "how much do I have left?" and it answers with exact figures.
