Connect your Google account in Eggent Cloud and the agent makes real Google Docs, Sheets and Slides in your Drive. What it can reach, what waits for your yes, and how to put an event into your calendar.
In Eggent Cloud the agent can work in your Google account: it makes real Google Docs, Sheets and Slides in your Drive and sends you the link.
Connect
The quickest way is the Your Google: docs, sheets, slides card on the new-chat screen: say what you need ("a budget for the renovation", "slides about our product") and the agent asks you to connect, then makes the file.
You can also connect any time:
- in a chat, ask the agent to do something in Google: it shows a Connect Google button under its answer;
- or in Settings → General, the Google card.
Google asks you to sign in and to allow access to the files Eggent creates. That is the whole permission: the agent does not see the rest of your Drive, your mail or your contacts.
When an account is connected, you get a notice in Telegram (if linked) and a letter to your confirmed address, with a link to disconnect it if it was not you. Disconnect any time in Settings → General.
What the agent can do
- Documents: write a new one (headings, lists, tables, bold), read it back, add to the end, replace words.
- Sheets: make a table with formulas, read it, change cells, add rows.
- Slides: make a presentation from a list of slides, read one.
- Drive: list the files it made, put a file from the workspace into Drive (as it is, or converted to a Doc, Sheet or Slides), bring a Drive file into the project (as PDF, DOCX, XLSX and the like), make folders and move files into them.
Every answer about a file carries its link. The agent never deletes a file, never gives a person or a group access, and never changes an owner.
What waits for your yes
Opening a file to anyone with its link always waits for you, the same way a letter to other people does: a message in Telegram with Allow and Decline, or, without Telegram, a letter to your confirmed address with a link to a page where you decide. The request waits 48 hours. Nobody can say yes for you, the agent included.
Calendar
Every workspace, Google or not, can put an event into your calendar: ask "add tomorrow's meeting at 15:00 to my calendar" and the agent makes a calendar file (.ics) that opens in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook, and a link that adds it to Google Calendar in one tap. The Add to my calendar card does the same. It reaches you in the chat, in Telegram or by email.
On your own server
The Google connection is part of Eggent Cloud. A self-hosted Eggent makes calendar files the same way, and can reach Google through an MCP server of your choice.
